PLUGS AND DOWELS
DECK PLUG KIT
• Upper cylinder wall distortion is
greatly reduced when these 3/4” NPT plugs
are installed in the water passage holes in the decks of Small Block and 90° V6 Chevy engines.
• Water holes must be tapped before the plugs are screwed in; block must also be decked after installation.
• Plugs also restrict water flow to the cylinder heads by reducing size of water passage holes to 5/16”.
• Packaged six to a kit.

• Machined from tough 4130 chromemoly steel, heat-treated to proper hardness, and parallel-ground so that stress loads are more evenly distributed and torque readings are more accurate.

• Designed to install an early 2-piece style crankshaft into a late model, 1-piece engine block.

and require no drilling or welding for installation.

OFFSET CYLINDER HEAD DOWELS
• Offset cylinder head dowels reposition the cylinder heads upwards on the block (toward the lifter valley), moving valves away from cylinder wall for improved intake flow.
• 4 alloy steel dowels per pack.
