KB HYPEREUTECTIC PISTONS
• KB Hypereutectic pistons are made of T-6 aluminum alloy with 16-18% silicon for hardness
and controlled expansion rate. Unique key features only KB offers: CNC-machined process uses a diamond cutter for high-quality finish and exact tolerances. Attenuator grooves on the piston top eliminate hot spots that cause pre-mature detonation. Mini grooves above the top ring prevent meltdown failure. Gas accumulator between top and 2nd ring controls pressure between rings and prevents ring flutter; these problems exist in all high performance engine applications, and KB eliminates them! Sold in sets of 8.
